Associate Chief Information Officer for Network Infrastructure
The University of Kentucky (UK) seeks an Associate Chief Information Officer (ACIO) in UK Information Technology Services (ITS) to serve as the strategic leader advising on the planning, implementation, and support of all networking and telecommunications infrastructure for the UK enterprise. The incumbent will report directly to the UK Chief Information Officer (CIO) and be a member of the UK ITS executive team. This key leadership position will provide strategic and operational leadership for all teams that support networking and infrastructure services across the UK enterprise. The incumbent will assist the UK CIO with implementing a forward looking, mission-driven networking and telecommunications infrastructure strategy along with a plan to execute it in an effective/efficient manner. Specific areas of technology responsibility include, but are not limited to, network operations, network engineering, infrastructure operations, telephony services, and all associated project and service management across the UK enterprise, including UK HealthCare (UKHC). The Associate CIO is expected to bring innovative solutions and strategies as well as play a key role in collaborating with key stakeholders (e.g., UKHC) and other members of the University community to provide a robust and resilient infrastructure that willserve as a foundation to enhance and improve business processes and other critical technology solutions.

Candidates must also bring experience in successfully working collaboratively across an organization with interdisciplinary teams to develop and obtain broad support for a shared vision and long-range plans.
